Industrial Maintenance

About

The Industrial Maintenance Technician program is designed to help meet the identified need for trained and skilled maintenance technicians.  Incorporating classroom instruction and shop learning experience utilizing actual equipment and related training devices, the program is designed for the technology student preparing for a career in the industry.

Students select two of the four elective programs of study in which they will spend one trimester (432 hours) per elective. Electives are HVAC Mechanic Helper, Industrial Maintenance Machinist, PLC-Robotics, or Shielded Metal Arc Welder.

After acquiring the Industrial Maintenance Apprentice Certificate, Industrial Maintenance Apprentice II Certificate, and successful completion of two electives, students will earn their Industrial Maintenance Technician Diploma.
