coordinate resident care and designate assignments to other staff members so that optimum resident care is provided. This position is responsible for reporting any changes in residents’ health condition to physicians and supervisors.   ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.   • Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistant and other staff being supervised • Give direct nursing care to residents • Visit all assigned residents at regular intervals during tour of duty • Supervise feeding of residents as necessary

LPN/RN position is to provide basic resident care in a manner conducive to the comfort and safety of residents, as well as give direct nursing care to residents. This position will assess resident health needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records under the direction of the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing Services in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the facility, and local, state and federal regulations, to maximize the fulfillment of care-giving needs of the patients.
