To apply for the Patient Care Technology/Medical Assisting (PCT/MA) program, applicants must submit all general admissions requirements and program-specific requirements, which can be found in the Allied Health Application Quick Guide. Applicants may meet the entrance exam requirement by taking the HESI® Entrance Exam, the TABE Entrance Exam, or by submitting qualifying ACT® scores. The HESI® Entrance Exam consists of Basic Math Skills and Reading Comprehension, with a minimum passing score of 50% in Math and 60% in Reading, and all portions must be completed and passed within the 2-hour time limit. The TABE Entrance Exam has a 180-minute time limit and requires a minimum passing score of Level 4.
