Duties: Under the direction of the program’s lead instructor, teach all aspects of the Machine Tool/Tool & Die lab & practical exercise curricula, monitor, grade and evaluate individual student progress, maintain appropriate records and submit timely reports. This is a part-time adjunct position (up to 29.5 hours per week) and does not qualify for benefits or retirement.
H.S. diploma or high school equivalency diploma required; Related Technology Diploma or Associate Degree preferred. Minimum of (3) year’s successful full-time employment as a machinist is required. You must be proficient in the use of conventional and computer numerical controlled (CNC) machines such as, Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machine), Die Sinker EDM, and the Bridgeport Machine Center. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with students, faculty, staff, general public and business and industry.
