Academic/Student Support Associate 5 (Student Services)

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Jackson is currently accepting applications for an Academic Student Support Associate 5. This is a full-time/non-exempt position with paid holidays, insurance and retirement.  Position will be located on the main campus in Jackson.

 

General Duties:

  • Responsible for all student enrollment and reporting related duties, including: registration, maintenance of student records, processing required local/state/federal reports, and data entry related to student/alumni/employer surveys.

  • Assist with student recruitment activities and other college events.

  • Greet visitors/prospect students and answer phone calls to Student Services office, provide initial information regarding programs/enrollment processes, and direct them to the appropriate staff for further information (counselor/recruiter or financial aid).

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical degree required, Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally-accredited college or university preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of office experience
  • Intermediate-to-Expert level knowledgeable of MS Office application programs.
  • Prior experience with a Student Information Management System preferred (SIMS and/or BANNER Student)
