Dr. Jeff Sisk
Dr. Jeff Sisk was appointed Director of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (Jackson) on July 1, 2011. Prior to arriving in Jackson, he served as Director at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (Whiteville), for seven years.
For the past 20 years his career has focused on helping students learn the skills necessary to be successful in the workplace. In his current role, he has overall responsibility for operations, academics, strategic planning and budgeting for the College and its 23 technical training programs, 60 staff and faculty members, four instructional sites, 800 students and an annual operating budget of $4.7 million.
He earned a doctorate of education in higher & adult education and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Memphis. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Lambuth University and an associate of applied science degree from Jackson State Community College. His research interests include female adult learners pursuing training preparing them for nontraditional occupations, as well as the Experiential Learning Theory applied to technical education settings.
He and his wife Stephanie are life-long residents of Madison County, Tennessee and currently reside in Medon –with their two children Hallie and Mitch.
